PMI-2 manometric ionization transducer converts the pressure value into an electrical signal, designed to work in conjunction with vacuum gauges or other similar devices.

To measure pressure using this sensor, first, the degassing procedure is carried out (cathode and anode heating), then calibration (measurement of "zero" currents) and emission setting (high voltage is connected to the anode and the required emission current value is set by changing the cathode heating current).

If the PMI-2 ionization sensor was turned off, then repeated degassing is not required. If the device is switched off, degassing will be restarted.
