Linear glow discharge indicator for continuous monitoring in indicating and signaling devices. The indication is made by the height of the luminous column through the side surface of the cylinder.

Electrode leads: 1 - anode; 2 - indicator cathode; 3 - auxiliary cathode. Line - the beginning of the working section of the luminous column; B1 - zone of possible positions of the luminous column at zero (minimum) value; B2 is the zone of possible positions of the luminous column at the maximum value of the measured parameter.

Technical characteristics of IN-13:

- occurrence of the category (in the interval the anode - an auxiliary cathode) - no more than 140 V;
- maintenance of the discharge (in the interval anode - indicator cathode) - from 94 V to 99 V.
